Since 1924, Holy Trinity Cricket Club has been at the heart of Thornbury and Melbourne’s Inner North – not just playing cricket, but building a community!
We began as a small community club with big dreams. Our founders believed that cricket could bring people together, build character,
and create lasting friendships. Over 100 years later, those same values guide everything we do.
Located in the heart of the northern suburbs, Hayes Park (Flinders Street, Thornbury) the ‘Trinners” continue to be a haven for fostering community spirit.
Throughout our history, we have welcomed new families, built stronger teams, and established ourselves as a destination club. Our club has became a place where generations of families have learn to love cricket, and created life long friends, and a few marriages as well.
Today’s HTCC honours our heritage while embracing the future:
- Eastern Cricket Association competition
- Men’s A grade cricket success (2023 & 2024 premierships)
- Women 1st XI cricket excellence (2017 & 2025 premierships)
- Mothers and daughters team
- All abilities programs
- Strong boys and girls cricket programs
- Junior Cricket Academy for player develop
- Mental Health and Pride Cup initiatives
- State-of-the-art facilities at Hayes Park
What makes us proudest isn’t just our trophies (though we love those too!) – it’s the families who’ve been part of HTCC for generations, the friendships
that have lasted decades, and the young players who’ve grown into community leaders.
Our heritage isn’t just history – it’s alive in everything we do:
- Mentorship: Older players guiding younger ones
- Tradition: Annual events that bring the community together
- Values: Respect, inclusion, and sportsmanship passed down through generations
- Community: Supporting local causes and initiatives
At the Trinners, you’re not just joining a cricket club – you’re becoming part of a story that’s been over 100 years in the making
